In collaboration with British luxury tea brand 〈NEWBY〉, we present “A Tea Journey Around the World,” an afternoon tea experience at Atrium that takes you on a culinary journey through different cultures throughout the year.
For November and December, the journey takes us to the Middle East. Inspired by Arab and Persian cuisine and culture, this exotic afternoon tea features savory dishes infused with spices, nuts, and fruits, along with sweets highlighting ingredients such as pistachio, citrus, and raspberry.
Enjoy a moment of escape as you travel to the Middle East through tea and food.

館内には、あまり知られていない美しい場所があります。
地下2階の車寄せへと続く廊下も、そのひとつ。
ベージュを基調とした落ち着いた空間に、鏡のように磨き上げられた大理石の床。天井には、円形の照明が等間隔に並び、奥へと続く視線を美しく導きます。
床に映り込む光、繰り返される照明、どこまでも続くような奥行き。
華美な装飾を主張するのではなく、インテリアそのものの美しさが静かに際立つ場所です。
そして、この廊下を歩く人の姿が加わることで、空間に物語が生まれます。
ホテルの中には、こうした「立ち止まって見つけたい美しい場所」が、まだいくつもあります。

There are beautiful, lesser-known corners hidden within the hotel.
The corridor leading to the B2 car entrance is one of them.
With a calm, beige-toned interior and marble floors polished to a mirror-like shine, the space is beautifully framed by a series of circular lights along the ceiling, drawing the eye gently into the distance.
The reflections of light on the floor, the repeating forms of the lamps, and the seemingly endless perspective create a quiet sense of depth.
Rather than relying on lavish decoration, this is a space where the beauty of the interior itself speaks softly.
And when someone walks through the corridor, the space seems to come alive, creating a story of its own.
There are still many beautiful places like this waiting to be discovered throughout the hotel.

明治政府に招かれた英国人建築家ジョサイア・コンドル。その教えを受けた工部大学校（現・東京大学工学部）の第一期生が、東京駅丸の内駅舎を設計した辰野金吾です。そして、わずか4人の同期生の一人、片山東熊（かたやまとうくま）が設計したのが、国宝 迎賓館赤坂離宮です。
迎賓館赤坂離宮は、1909年に紀州徳川家の江戸中屋敷跡地に東宮御所として建設されました。正面玄関を守るように配された阿吽の鎧武者像や、菊花紋章・桐紋などの意匠が、建物の威厳と格式をあらわしています。日本で唯一のネオ・バロック様式による宮殿建築として知られる迎賓館赤坂離宮。その壮麗な姿からは、明治という時代が目指した近代国家としての気概と、美意識を感じることができます。
さらに2026年7月からは、従来の参観ルートに加え、ムーリッシュ様式が印象的な「東の間」や、皇太子・皇太子妃殿下の玄関、回廊など、これまで原則非公開だった空間の公開が始まりました。東西玄関には画家・藤田嗣治の作品4点も展示されており、建築だけでなく美術を楽しめる見どころも。これまで以上に、迎賓館の魅力を深く味わえる貴重な機会となっています。

Follow the footsteps of Japan’s architectural pioneers from The Tokyo Station Hotel.
British architect Josiah Conder, invited to Japan during the Meiji era, taught at the Imperial College of Engineering. Among his first graduates were Kingo Tatsuno, architect of the Tokyo Station Marunouchi Building, and Tokuma Katayama, who designed the National Treasure State Guest House, Akasaka Palace.
Completed in 1909 as the Crown Prince’s residence, Akasaka Palace is Japan’s only Neo-Baroque palace. From the samurai statues at the entrance to the imperial chrysanthemum and paulownia emblems, its details reflect the elegance and ambition of the Meiji era.
Since July 2026, previously restricted areas have opened to visitors, including the Moorish-style East Room, the entrance used by the Crown Prince and Crown Princess, and connecting corridors. Four paintings by Tsuguharu Foujita are also on display, adding an artistic highlight to the visit.
